Welcome to the Young Liberals Action Days App, an application created and published by the Young Liberals. By accessing or using our application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.
2. Changes to Terms
The Young Liberals reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
3. Description of Service
The App provides a platform for users to list Action Days, offer and request accommodation, and offer and request rideshares for the 2024 United Kingdom General Election. The App is provided free of charge and without any warranties of any kind.
4. User Accounts
- Registration: Users must register for an account to use the App. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. User Content
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you post on the App, including offers, requests, comments, and messages. You agree not to post any content that is unlawful, harmful, or otherwise objectionable.
- License: By posting content on the App, you grant the Young Liberals a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the operation of the App.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Post or transmit any content that infringes on the rights of others.
- Use the App to distribute spam or other unsolicited messages.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems.
7. Termination
The Young Liberals may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
- No Warranties: The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The Young Liberals do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Fitness for Use: The Young Liberals do not warrant that the App is fit for any particular purpose or that it will meet your requirements.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Young Liberals be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, whether or not the damages were foreseeable and even if the Young Liberals were advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Young Liberals and their affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
